This workshop is open and beneficial for any entrepreneur/business minded women in any field of work (does not have to be fitness or yoga related).
- Participate in group and individual creativity exercises to help expand your awareness of opportunities, and clarify your personal and unique career path/business vision
- Receive step by step guidance in how-to write a clear and effective business proposal and pro-forma.
- Gain access to a large pool of resources for cost-effective (read: cheap, or in many cases FREE!) marketing and advertising.
- Devise a concrete business plan and marketing calendar so you can put your ideas into action ASAP.
- Network and share ideas with other talented and resourceful women.

9:00-9:15am Welcome & Introductions.
9:15-10:15am All Levels Yoga Flow (optional)*
Warming up the body is thought by many to be the best technique for warming up the mind. This will be an all levels class, focused on energizing the body and stimulating the mind's creative juices to support optimal performance in the rest of the day's work.
10:30-11:30am Is there really a recipe for success?
A look at some of the most successful entrepreneurs throughout history in an attempt to see what they all have in common. What are the rules of success? What is the role of luck? Are luck and profitable opportunities random? And what do an explorer, an artist, a judge and a warrior have to do with starting your own business? Self-assessment - Do you have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur?
11:30am -1:30pm Sharpen your vision.
Using the acclaimed Circle and Tree Diagram technique**, uncover your business calling. Uncover and/or refine your business vision in a way that reflects your deepest passions, values, talents and ultimately your unique mission in life. And yes, we mean physical vision too. Lean how to recognize profitable opportunities and innovative ideas found all around you in the world on a daily basis.
1:30-2:15pm LUNCH BREAK
2:30-4:00pm How to write a Business Proposal
A step-by-step guide to writing all of the components of a business proposal, which include: An executive summary; mission statement; elaboration of product; market analysis and pro-forma. This will be a hands on workshop - meaning you will actually be writing a rough draft of your very own business proposal, followed by peer review and critique.
4:00-4:30pm Walk to Prospect Park/Process and network with other participants.
4:30-6:00pm Marketing Workshop
Learn how to develop a Marketing Plan and strategize efficiently and effectively. Explore all the different available marketing media, many of which can be made use of for little or no cost. Discover the 16 monumental secrets of guerrilla marketing. Develop a rough draft of your marketing plan and schedule a marketing calendar.
6:00-7:00pm Bringing it all together
Give your tree (from earlier Circle/Tree Diagram Workshop) some branches and leaves!
Outline the first concrete and immediate steps you could take right now to get your business plan out of the air and onto the ground!
